Our adult fitness programs offer a wide range of classes designed to help you stay active, improve your health, and reach your fitness goals. From strength training and cardio workouts to flexibility and balance-focused activities, there’s something for everyone, regardless of fitness level. To secure your place in this program, payment is due at the time of registration. If you are unable to make a full payment at the time of registration, please contact our Membership Services department by calling 403-942-5757 or by email us at [email protected].
In order to receive member pricing, the membership must remain in effect for the duration of the program. Should the participant cancel their membership prior to the end of the program, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires the participant to pay the difference between the member and the non-member pricing to continue in the program
Cancellation Policy: In order to receive a full refund, the YMCA of Lethbridge requires cancellations to be made at least 7 days prior to the program start date. Should the participant cancel within the week before the start date, cancellations will be prorated. Prorating is depending on time before program start date.
Functional Mobility (18+)
Our Functional Mobility Fitness program is designed for adults looking to enhance their movement quality and improve overall physical performance. This class focuses on exercises that promote joint mobility, flexibility, and core stability through functional movements that mimic everyday activities. Participants will engage in dynamic stretching, balance training, and strength-building exercises, all aimed at increasing range of motion and reducing the risk of injury. Suitable for all fitness levels, this program helps adults maintain independence, improve posture, and feel more comfortable in their daily lives. Memory Trekkers
Dementia-friendly walking groups for social connections have been shown to improve health, mood, sleep, and cognitive functioning in older adults.
This group will walk the track twice a week for six weeks and count their laps. It is a great way to socialize and find support within a group.

Pedaling for Parkinsons
Pedaling for Parkinson’s is a community-based cycling program designed to improve the quality of life for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. Led by certified instructors, this class uses stationary bikes to help participants build strength, endurance, and coordination in a safe and supportive environment.
Research shows that forced, high-cadence cycling can reduce Parkinson’s symptoms by improving motor function and overall well-being. Each session includes a warm-up, guided cycling intervals, and a cool-down, all tailored to individual abilities.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been managing Parkinson’s for years, this class offers a welcoming space to move, connect, and thrive.

Who Can Join:
Participants must have a Parkinson’s diagnosis and a medical release form. Care partners are welcome to attend.
The Big 3
This program is specifically designed to offer training tips and techniques for individuals at all skill levels. Come and learn the proper form and techniques for lifting. This will improve your training, prevent injury, and increase performance.
